While we are certain you will enjoy your time here as an international student, we at BBMS are mindful that at times, especially at the start, you might feel overwhelm with the necessities of living in Singapore.

Our Student Services is here to support you, counsel you and get you to have a rewarding and memorable learning experience with us in Singapore.   If you need anything at all, come to our Student Services.  We have a range of services to assist you.  Our counsellor is always available if you have a pressing personal issue.

Preparation Service

Agents in your home country are given comprehensive information to help you prepare for life in Singapore.  You can always contact us directly for any advice that you may need.

Orientation Service

We have a comprehensive orientation programme to:
  • Familiarise you with procedures and facilities at BBMS;
  • Get to meet your friendly academic and administrative staff of BBMS;
  • Get to meet your classmates; and,
  • To get advice on practical matters such as accommodation, banking, transport, immigration and visa issues. 

Meeting Your Friends

Through the various activities our Student Services will organise you will get the opportunity to make new friends. They can be an invaluable source of guidance. Friendships that you form and forge through meeting the various challenges in school are the ones that remain firm long beyond your studies.  These friendships will give you a network of contacts that will prove invaluable in your professional career.

Housing and Accommodation Arrangement

You have a wide range of accommodation options in Singapore, ranging from private rental flats and apartments to hostels to suit your budget.

When you accept our offer of admission at BBMS, we will send to you detailed information on student hostels and an application form.

Many students tend to make their own arrangements through their friends or relatives who are already in Singapore.  Others prefer to take up short-term accommodation while looking to rent a private apartment.  Done on a group basis, this will be a lower-cost option.  Since rental of apartments has to go through a due process, this can only be done once you are in Singapore.

Career Guidance

If you are in need of information and advice on career choices and guidance, please contact our Student Services.  Our Career Guidance Counsellor will be happy to advice you.

We do provide affordable and confidential career services the working world and training to help you make informed career choices and prepare for a professional life.

  • Self assessment and career/personality profiling*
  • Individual career planning and coaching session
  • Cover letter and resume critique and coaching
  • Interview skills and etiquette coaching
  • Online career portal and job postings
  • Career readiness workshops
  • Small group career guidance and coaching sessions
*Note: This session includes the use of a profiling tool that assesses your career interest, personality, and suitable work environment types. A minimal fee is payable for the use of the tool. 

Workshops and Seminars

You will have access to workshops and seminars on a diverse range of topics conducted by experienced consultants, our lecturers and by leading academics from our university partners.

Counselling Service

Individual and group counselling sessions are available on appointment basis.  Contact Student Services for an appointment if you need to seek advice on any matter even including learning difficulties or problems in motivating yourself in your studies.  We are here to help you.
