Course Aims & Objectives
The Certificate in Business Management by Boston Business Management School (BBMS) is aimed at providing students with fundamentals management skills and knowledge including Accounting, Sales & Marketing, Human Resource Management and Business Management.
Structure and Duration
The course comprises 6 modules of study conducted on a full-time (Day) basis.
Day-Time Programme
Classes meet for 5 times a week amounting up to 15 contact hours per week. The programme comprises of lectures and tutorials will be conducted over a period of 6 months.
Admission Criteria
Interested applicants must possess the following entrance requirement:
- Reasonable understanding of the English Language (Local Students only)
International Applicants
- Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of general education or its equivalent
- Reasonable understanding of the English Language
Course Curriculum
Fundamentals of Business Management
This module provides you with an understanding of the strategic problems facing business people in the modern market economy. Topics covered include management, marketing and ethical aspects.
Fundamentals of Accounting
This module provides you with an understanding of the basic concepts and principles of accounting. Topics such as entry techniques and the importance of accounting in a business environment are covered.
Sales and Marketing
This module introduces you to the basics of Sales and Marketing. Promotions are discussed to highlight Sales and Marketing techniques used in the sales industry.
Communications and Writing skills
This module trains you to communicate effectively handling both oral and written communication required in a work environment.
Fundamentals of Customer Service
This module introduces you to provide customer service involving the use of communication skills for sales duties by identifying the needs of customers and applying selling techniques in handling the sales process.
Fundamentals of Human Resource
This module provides you with an understanding of the importance of Human Resource Management in an organisation. Key topics include recruitment, training and development, performance appraisal, compensation, fundamentals of employee.
